Well, its been a while since I've posted. Solly is growing up very quickly...and losing his hair very quickly. He was born with a relatively thick head of hair, but it is all going. His bed has a hair patch. He's lost it in the front of his head, and on his right side and the back. But he still has a bit on his crown. Because it is so patchy we've started putting him in hats to prevent him getting teased at school. But he is still as beautiful as ever.
Solomon started to smile at about 4 weeks old, and no they were not wind smiles. I thought I'd add some pics with his happy face.
He's also put on heaps of weight and is looking more and more grown up every day. He is well over 5kg.
I think we've got parenting at this stage pretty much under control. He wakes up once at night, after I feed him at 10:30pm, between 3 & 4am, and then is up at 7am, which is pretty good I think. He doesn't cry very much, only if he's done a poo, or is a bit snuffly in the nose.
So that is Solly. Phil and I recently bought a new car. It's a 2002 Mitzubishi Magna. It is pretty nice, although a pain in the butt to change registration from the Northern Territory.
We also spent the Queen's Birthday long weekend at the South Coast with Phil's sisters family. It was just lovely. I'll post some pictures of Solomon's first trip to the beach another time. It was wet and cold most the weekend, but that is what you get living in Canberra. It has been freezing cold the last few days, but we go for a walk most days to get the blood pumping and warm us up a bit.
Anyway, not very interesting gossip today, but I'm sure you like Solomon's photos...I do!
