NRL Grand Final and Solly's first roll

GO YOU BRONCOS!!!
Well, we went to the NRL Grand Final in Sydney on the 1 October. Phillip, Solomon and I drove up on the Saturday and spent Sunday morning shopping at the DFO's. Tom, Sam & Kell drove up on Sunday morning and they picked up our uncle Nick and we walked to the Stadium at about 3pm. It was great because, as you can see we were all wearing maroon and gold. Tom bought our tickets and couldn't get six together, so Me, Phil and Solly were on one side of the stadium and they were on the other side. But we still had a pretty good view. We watched the thrilling reserve grade final first and then Solly went to sleep for about 40 minutes during the prematch entertainment, which was really dull. But he woke up for the big game...Brisbane Broncos v Melbourne Storm. It was a great game, with a great result and it is one thing that Solly can tick off his life list. He was such a good boy, except when he spat his dummy out at one of the ladies infront. It was a long day for solly but it was a great night!
Last Thursday Solomon rolled for the first time from his front to back. I put him on a water mat on the floor which Leanne, Phil's sister, gave to us. I put him on his belly on it and went to stir the dinner and Phil went to put something away in our room, and when Phil came back less than 30 seconds later, Solomon was on his back. So neither of us saw him do it. But the water mat has been a godsend, as he doesn't mind being on his belly as much. He used to scream as soon as he went down. Now he looks around and lifts his head high and after a minute or two, will start to scream. But a minute or two is better than nothing! But yesterday was the excitement of my life, as Solly rolled about 10 times. I put him on his belly and he would push himself up and over both to his left and right. What a good boy! It's a shame that Phil was away this weekend and missed it. I got it on video so all is good.
Solly has also started to sit up on his own. He'll sit for a minute or two at a time. So he is developing really well. We are also considering starting him on solids soon. He plays with a sippy cup at the moment but once Phil goes back to work we'll start him I guess. So that'll be the goss probably when I post my next blog.
